Shirley R. Neidig, 74, of Dillsburg, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
She was born July 30, 1935, in Bedford County, PA, the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Ramsey) Reed.
Shirley was the widow of Earl J. Neidig, Jr.
She was a former Registered Nurse with the Poly Clinic Medical Center, Harrisburg and retired from Messiah Village.
Shirley is survived by three sons, Earl Scott Neidig and Brett R. Neidig, both of Dillsburg and Mark A. Neidig of Wellsville; and one brother, Gary Reed of Elizabethtown. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Krystle, Zachary, Samantha, Shannon, Casey, Paige and her loving companion Gerald Neidig.
Services will be held Monday, March 15, 2010, at 11:00 am in the Cocklin Funeral Home, Inc., 30 N. Chestnut St., Dillsburg with the Rev. C. Ronald Burgard officiating. Burial will follow in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. A viewing will be held Monday from 10-11 am at the funeral home.
