Ruth Kathryn (Bushey) Weigard, 93, of Wellsville, died on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 74 years, Harold Weigard. Treasured mother of Eileen (Roy) Conley of Lewisberry and Carol (Luke) Cline of Middletown; devoted grandma of Richard (Robin) Conley, with whom she resided for many years, Jessalyn Stott (Neil) Cooper, and Douglas (Naomi) Stott. Ruth is also survived by her sister, Maryellen Bentz, and five great-grandchildren: Keith Conley, Laura Conley, Sean Stott, Ian Stott, and Ella Cooper.
Ruth was a member of Barrens United Lutheran Church, Dillsburg, for more than 60 years, where she was an active member of the Altar Guild and the Willing Workers.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family; burial will be in Barrens Salem Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Barrens Salem Union Cemetery Association, c/o Elwood Myers, 1244 Bragtown Rd., Dillsburg, PA 17019.
